Overview
ArkSQL is a desktop IDE for Microsoft SQL Server that puts database code under real version control. Every procedure, function and view is scripted into a Git repository the app manages.
The challenge
Stored procedures are real code, yet they are usually edited live on servers with no history, no review and no way to keep a test and a production version side by side.
What we built
ArkSQL scripts every object to a .sql file in a Git repository, shows drift against the baseline, and deploys any branch to any server with CREATE OR ALTER in one transaction per database, all or nothing.

Deep object explorer
Tables, keys, indexes, triggers, procedures, functions, types, sequences and security, with drift badges.

Monaco SQL editor
The VS Code editor with T-SQL highlighting, schema-aware autocomplete and true server-side cancel.

Branches, per-object history, side-by-side diffs and a merge conflict resolver, pushed to GitHub or Azure DevOps.

Pick a branch and a server, review every script, and deploy with automatic rollback on failure.

One repository tracks a whole system across databases, such as Hospital and Pharmacy.
